I think one of the reasons we’re so overweight and obese as a society is because of eating out at restaurants. The portion sizes are huge, the meals are prepared in oils, or are deep fried, you’ve got baskets of bread, a couple appetizers, 2-3 drinks and a dessert and before you know it, you’ve put away 1000-1500 calories. In just 1 meal!
But guess what? You need to look in the mirror because ultimately it’s up to you to control what you put in your mouth at a restaurant. I don’t give a gosh darn if you’re out with friends or not and they laugh at you for skipping drinks and the fried calamari. You need to make better choices when dining out.
