A Fun Abs Workout For Six-Pack Abs

I’m in Las Vegas as I type this, but I wanted to show you a quick, fun abs workout that you can do to help you on your pursuit of a six-pack.

All you need is yourself, a deck of cards and a little bit of space.

I’m really big on workouts using your own bodyweight that you can do anywhere, like we do in Bikini Abs Makeover.

I know it sounds weird to use a deck of cards, but that’s what makes this workout fun!

You’ve got some flexibility to this workout so be creative.

Check out the video and enjoy!

    What a great idea!

I must confess at first I was thinking “WTF??” but when I got through the video I realized is indeed a cool, fun way to do a workout! My only concern is that I don’t lose all my cards if sudden breeze goes through the park, hehe, but other than, it seems really fun.

Cool idea, Scott! Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Scott!
I must agree with Fernando. Great idea! Will surely give it a go.
May I comment on the background of your videos (in the park – with the trees and grass)? I love it! We live in a very dry country – not a lot of grass, not a lot of green trees. So while you are talking, I'm admiring the park behind you!
    Very cool!

Cool idea! Very cleaver and should give a good workout. Curious as to how long it should probably take to get through the entire deck of cards? Can you give some samples of 4 exercises that you would recommend to put together so that you get a full body workout? Thanks for the great idea Scott!

Scott, what a fantastically simple (and most likely highly effective) idea. Well, ideas aren’t effective, but applying them certainly is! now, if only I knew what a squat thrust were; I’ll be doing some research.

In fact, some friends of mine play Nertz (a card game), and they do a crunch for each point the winner gets in a particular hand. Fun fitness with a friend.

Fantastic idea. I'm going to try this at karate tonight. I think that this would be great for kids. It's very hard to keep them motivated when working out. Games are always great with kids. Also the crunches for points is a good idea. Thanks again for your help.
