21 Favorite Workout Songs23 Comments
I didn’t realize how hard it was to name my top 21 workout songs until I started going through my iTunes playlist. It’s like trying to name your top 10 movies – not easy to do. I wouldn’t say that these are definitely my top 21, but I do love to workout to these songs. I decided to make this list when I was working out on Saturday morning. It was hot, and I was tired but my music really helped me push through the workout.
So here’s my list. Please add your favorite workout songs in the Comments.
Right Round – Flo Rida
List of Demands – Saul Williams
The Rascal King – The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
When You Were Young – The Killers

Hi Matt checked out some of these songs as the titles & band names suggested some very dark tunes. I guess uplifting lyrics aren't particularly important. I listen to bands like Petra, Planetshkers, Casting Crowns and MercyMe to name a few. The music is pwerful and rocks hard but when you are singing about the most important man to ever walk the earth and how he still plays a part in some many of lives today you can't help but to train like you can move a mountain. If this type of music was good enough for Lee Haney then it certainly woks good for me. Check it out you may be pleasantly suprised.

Hi everyone. I can really relate to good pumping rock music but if the words aren't also getting you pumped then it doesn't quite work. Most Christian bodybuilders listen to some serious Christian rock which not only has awesome classic style heavy rock sound but the lyrics add the extra bit of adrenaline to push those last few reps. Check some out e.g. Petra, Planetshakers, Casting Crowns, Newsboys and MercyMe. Oh if your wondering who some of the bodybuilders are check out these guys, Lee Haney and Shawn Ray just to name a few.
