3 Health Foods You Must Avoid To Get Six Pack Abs2 Comments
When it comes to getting a flat stomach and six pack abs, what you put in your mouth will go a long way in determining how successful you’ll be. Unfortunately sometimes it’s getting more and more difficult to determine what foods are healthy and what foods aren’t. The reason? The packaging on the box can be very misleading.
Let me show you 3 examples of foods that you may think are healthy and why they’re not. Then I’ll show you a simple strategy that will be easy to follow
so you don’t get misled again.
1) Smart Start Healthy Heart cereal.
It’s not just this cereal that’s bad. Most cereals are – I just happen to have an old box in my food pantry. A lot of cereal boxes say that they are healthy for your heart or will lower your cholesterol, but an examination of the ingredients is needed. Some of the ingredients in this cereal include sugar (2nd
ingredient), high fructose corn syrup, glycerin, dextrose, malt flavor… and the list goes on and on. These don’t sound like ingredients that you should be putting in your body, do they?
2) Reduced Fat Wheat Thins
These would appear to be healthy because of the words “reduced fat” and “wheat” right? Check out some of the ingredients: enriched flour, sugar, defatted wheat germ, cornstarch, malt syrup, high fructose corn syrup….and there are quite a few more. Hmmm. Not so good.
3) Lean Cuisine anything.
I went to the grocery store this morning and bought a package of Lean Cuisine Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce. Again, you’re getting tricked by the word “lean” but it’s not just Lean Cuisine – most of these frozen meals aren’t that healthy. Here are some of the ingredients: blanched macaroni product,
sugar, blue cheese, modified food starch, corn syrup solids, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, as well as too many other ingredients to type.
So as you can see, some of these foods that would appear to be healthy, because of the words on front of the box, are actually not once you check out the ingredients. So my easy solution for you? Well I’ve got two of them.
1) Don’t eat foods that come in boxes (or bags).
2) Eat foods with as few ingredients as possible, which means you want foods as natural as possible. So I’m talking about berries, nuts, eggs, fish, lean chicken, spinach, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, etc.
Anyway, I hope this helps and clears up some of the confusion about certain “health” foods which may be preventing you from getting the nice, lean six pack abs you’re trying to get. This is the type of training you’ll get in my coaching program My First Six Pack.
My First Six Pack will help you finally get that six pack abs you’ve always wanted.
Have a great Monday.

I have a question/questions about the meal plans. Because of who I am…. I don't eat much dairy (only raw milk cheese) and I don't eat many grains, only brown rice, very occasionally because grains give me acne, which tells me that I can't digest them well. So my question is, what carbs should I substitute with? Instead of all these muffins and whole wheat bread that are suggested on the meal plan.
Thanks for the guidance,

Hi Julie,
For your carbs, I would make them as natural as possible and focus on eating sweet potatoes, oatmeal, fibrous vegetables, black beans, legumes, foods like that.
To be honest, when I went through my transformation, for my carbs I ate mainly fruits, vegetables, sweet potatoes, oatmeal and that's it (except for my reward meals).
Does this help.
