Scott, I love the music you used for the three videos. Would you mind giving the musicians’ names or where you found these (versions of these) songs? I’d love to work out to them!

Do sugary foods include things like skim milk and fruit?

Hey Scott, great video.
Got the same question Mary has. What about fruit? I love fruit and tend to it quite a lot of it, mostly grapes, kiwis, watermelon, cantaloupe and bananas (these usually right after workout).
Us fruit lovers should we stop eating all these fruits?
Also, what about that workout routine on long periods of time? You’ve been talking about squats, push ups and lunges for a while now, but how long can you keep doing that set until your body totally gets used to it and stop working?
Keep the good work, Scott. Thank you!

I used to eat a lot of fruit. I thought that natural sugars in fruit could not harm me. For the last two months I have reduced eating fruit to a small amount 1/4cup of berries. This has made an incredible difference in weightloss. I dropped 16lbs in two months. And food cravings have subsided. I get full on less food and my digestion has improved greatly.

Catherine – I will have to disagree with you on this one.
I increased my fruit intake in the last few months and I have never been as lean as I am now. My buddy Craig Ballantyne eats about 10 servings of fruits a day and his latest pictures revealed his six-pack abs.
Your blog says that you have been following the Atkins diet for 2 months and that you have lost weight. I congratulate you on your weight loss but its not due to decreasing the amount of fruit you are eating. It’s because you are not eating any processed or refined carbohydrates. You also state that fruits are fast digesting. They are actually a slow digesting carb.
Folks, fruits do not cause you to be overweight. How many people do you know became fat because they ate too much fruit? They contain very important nutrients. I prefer different colors of berries because of their antioxidant properties.

Hi Tracy.
Which videos are you referring to exactly? I have a lot out there.
Mary and Fernando – see my above response about fruit. Please don’t stop eating fruit. You’ll want to minimize sweets (like candy, cookies) anything with excess sugars, artificial sweeteners, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, alcohol, etc.
Remember I WANT you to eat single ingredient foods. This includes lots of fruit.
Mary I still drink organic skim milk but I am slowly converting to almond milk.
Fernando, I mention those exercises a lot because they are ones that a lot of people understand how to do and I am not putting together a formal workout program on here on this blog These are just sample workouts ideas.
But remember my videos of 50 different styles of push ups (I reposted them). There are lots of variations of squats and lunges too. So even if you did stick to variations of these exercises, you would have an endless supply of workouts.
Hope this helps.

Great video Scott. All good info. In my 30 day challenge I’ve cut out all artificial sweeteners. My cravings for sweets have been dramatically reduced. I now sweeten my oatmeal with just 1 Tbs. of honey. There is no doubt that these cravings are learned. For the concerns about not changing your workout routine, couldn’t you add weight. I like doing lunges with weight in my hands. If you do these while trying to push your abs out through your back your whole body will burn.
