Attempt at 20 Pull Ups - Abs Uncrunched Show Episode #12
December 1st, 2008 · Filed Under: Abs Exercise
On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, was my attempt at 20 straight pull ups.
This was the 4th performance goal I set for myself and by far the hardest for me.
I’ve always been horrible at pull ups - as a kid, I could only do 1.
At the beginning of October, I could only do a mere 6.
But then I started training pull ups 3 days a week and got much stronger at them.
I didn’t quite reach full extension on my form and I didn’t quite reach my goal, but I did more pull ups than I had ever done before, so I was pretty pleased.
Check it out!

Good Job Scott! Doubling your pull ups in 6 weeks! I think that Krazy Kookie Diet may have stifled your performance. Just say no to the OOKIE with a “C” diet! LOL

Not bad Scott! I’d say doing it after Thanksgiving was a mistake! I know that if I eat unhealthy it takes me about 2 days to get back to normal. An example would be that I tried benching 190 lbs on a “cheat” day and got 3 reps, then a couple days later got 6 reps. I’ll bet you could get even more after a few days back into the healthy groove.
