Have You Lost The Desire To Workout?4 Comments

Topics: Abs Exercise, Abs Nutrition

Let’s face it. Here in the United States and other parts of the world, we are in the middle of a long hot summer. Weekend cookouts, family vacations and the kids home from school often make it easier to skip our workouts. And then as you put on the pounds, you typically lose the desire to workout. As fall rolls around, you usually get back into a normal routine and begin exercising again. But shortly after, the holidays roll in and your routine gets interrupted again. It’s a vicious cycle.

But let’s also face this fact. You are given one body and one chance to live in this crazy world. Life is too short and too precious to waste it. Take care of your body. Fuel it with nutritious foods. Move with enough intensity to create a nice, healthy lean body. Stop making excuses to skip your workouts. Stop justifying why it’s OK to eat fried foods and sweets and drink alcohol.

The next time you feel like skipping a workout, think of my bootcamp member, Amy Rankin. She was given the scare of her life last September when doctors discovered a brain tumor. She had to have not one, but two brain surgeries. But yet, she was back at bootcamp a mere two weeks after her second surgery doing a little bit at a time. Amy lives her life by this motto…

When the world says, “Give up,”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

You can watch Amy’s story in the video below. If you are in Dallas, please join the Her Strength Bootcamp family. If not, I will coach you to that new, lean, healthy body you desire with the My First Six Pack Coaching Program.

Have a wonderful day.
