Make Sure You Do This One Type of Exercise For a Flat Stomach and Six-Pack Abs3 Comments

Topics: Abs Exercise

Hey there – I wanted to make sure you are including compound exercises in your training program. Compound exercises work more than one muscle group at the same time, in contrast to isolation exercises which work only one muscle group at a time. Compound exercises are the only exercises that I do and have really helped me get a flat stomach and six-pack abs.

If you think about it, in every day life you are working more than one muscle group at once, like when you sit down, walk, or open up a door. So my opinion is that you should train your body in a similar fashion. Other advantages to compound exercises are that they can stimulate a cardio effect as it really gets your heart rate up, and they can shorten your workout duration.

We use exclusively compound exercises in the Abs Uncrunched system which allows the majority of our workouts to be 20 minutes or less.

Check out the video for some examples of compound exercises.

Have an amazing day.

Scott
