Re: post workout shakes.

I live in Northern Thailand. Not a lot of supplements are available, and if they are, they are imported and very expensive.

If a store bought protein shake or even protein powder isn't available, what would you recommend?

I have been blending frozen strawberries and yogurt, pouring it over a 1/4 c. of all-bran. This has given me the 2 to 1 carbs to pro ration, but it sounds like I should be using a simpler carb instead of the all-bran.

I'd appreciate any advice!
Thanks!

Hi Scott,

I usually do a small workout about two hours before bed time. I know it's not good to eat before going to bed. Would you still suggest eating after the workout, and if so, what would you suggest?
