Quick Fat Burning Workouts To Get A Flat StomachNo Comments »

Topics: Abs Exercise

Many exercisers who want to get a flat stomach tend to do a lot of long boring cardio workouts, a ton of crunches, and go on a restrictive calorie diet. Well this is the absolute wrong way to burn belly fat. In reality, you should do quick fat burning workouts by increasing the intensity of your weight lifting and cardio sessions, while taking little rest between exercises. Research has shown that this is the best way to get a flat stomach.

The best way to get a flat stomach is to do quick fat burning workouts. Workouts that combine heavy strength training and high intensity cardio have been shown to be effective at burning not only belly fat, but fat over your entire body. Performing compound exercises, which are exercises involving more than one muscle group, as opposed to isolation exercises, will keep your heart rate high and will allow you to shorten your workouts because you are using more than one muscle group at the same time.

A good example of this would be push ups, followed by squat thrusts, then squats and finally mountain climbers. Here, you have 2 strengthening movements, the push ups and squats, interspersed with high intensity cardio movements – squat thrusts and mountain climbers. This is an excellent and quick fat burning workout to help you get a flat stomach.

Also when you train this way, there is no need to do crunches. Again, crunches are an isolation exercise and it doesn’t do anything to help you burn belly fat. Moreover, a crunch flexes your abs. In reality, your abs should be trained as a stabilizer since that is how it’s used in daily life. Stick to full body movements like squats, push ups, jumps, sprints, pull ups, etc., that user your abs as stabilizers and you’ll have a lot better luck at burning belly fat.

So just remember, train hard with intensity, make sure you lift weights and ditch the long, boring, slow cardio workouts and crunches and you’ll get a flat stomach in no time.
