Howdy all!
Willpower - it’s an interesting word, isn’t it?
The ability to control your actions.
Some of you believe in it, and some of you don’t.
Some of you think that to create long lasting, permanent weight loss, you need incredible amounts of willpower. Others scream phooey!
Me? I think you can will yourself to do something on a short term basis. But willpower is temporary. I had great success on The Every Other Day Diet, but I did not rely on willpower.
I mean, how many of you have ever started on a diet program full force? You’re excited. You know this time will be THE time that you lose your weight for good. And after about a week or so, it comes crashing down to an end.
What happened?
Did you not have enough willpower?
Maybe there are some things you could have done prior to starting the diet to make your results long lasting. Such as setting up your environment for success and finding your bigger reason for wanting to lose weight.
