The Abs Diet6 Comments
Howdy.
I thought you might want to know what my idea of the Abs Diet is.
What I mean is that I want to show you how I shop for groceries and what type of foods I buy.
I want to show you a lot of the foods that I ate during my abs transformation to get a flat stomach and six-pack abs.
You’ll see a lot of these types of foods popping up in The Carb Rotation Diet Plan.
Care to go on a grocery shopping tour with me?
I hope so, because I made a little video for you of me shopping at Whole Foods.
And something very interesting happened about half way through the video when I was buying some salmon.
I kind of was expecting this, but wasn’t really sure if and when it might happen.
You’ll also meet my cat, Nomar, at the end of the video.
Stick around and watch.
Oh, and don’t forget to leave your comments.
Do you have any grocery shopping tips? What works for you? Did you like meeting my cat, Nomar? : )
Have an amazing day.
Scott

Scott, care to chime in on the debate about high fructose corn syrup (HFCS)? I have been trying hard to avoid this ubiquitous additive in the belief it is a major cause of the obesity epidemic in America. But others say don’t bother; HFCS metabolizes into sucrose anyway. I would value your opinion, as it is quite hard to find a processed food, sweet or not, WITHOUT fructose. Thanks.

haha! Scott you renegade food shopper! Awesome! film on…too many rules in society…just wondering… that amount of food would only feed me for a day! do you eat that over a week? or do you go shopping every 3 days or so…curious… as for the above… corn syrup is evil! why is it in everything in america??? and how can some sandwiches have expiry dates of 8months! Repeat 8 MONTHS!!! just crazy…

Thanks for the mention, Scott
Wally, I don’t really think there’s a debate about HFCS… I think it’s more of a corporate-washing of information. Of course there will be studies out there about how it’s metabolized because the companies using it want to cover themselves. But that’s not the main issue…
Whether the studies back it up or refute HFCS, it is clear that sugar (processed) does lead to illness and disease. Namely type-2 and cancer.
The best advice is to add your own honey or agave nectar to unsweetened foods like plain yogurt or whatever else you eat regularly.
Hope this helps!
Live Awesome!

Interesting video (and love Nomar – what a cutie!). I haven't made it through a lot of the content on the blog yet, but it's great. I currently follow the Paleo/EF type diet (which is pretty low carb but not "super" low), but I'm interested in the carb rotation and how that lines up with EF. I'll be digging in some more – thanks!!
