The Secret to Getting a Flat StomachComments
One of the first things you should look at when trying to get a flat stomach are your eating habits. You may be doing the right type of training, but then ruin
things in the kitchen.
A simple thing you can change right now is to stagger your calories.
Think of your workouts. If you’re lifting the same weight day after day, week after week, and month after month, you may see results initially, but then your body adjusts and you hit a plateau.
Same thing with eating – if you eat the same number of calories day in and day out, week after week, your body will become use to this, and your results suddenly stop.
Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t like to count calories. So what I’ll do is stagger my carbs – one day I might eat fruits, vegetables and proteins and then the next day I may add oatmeal and a sweet potato to my meals. That’s just a simple example, but hopefully you get the idea.
I recommend following a program that’s laid out for you in a step by step fashion so you don’t have to guess at any of this. My friend Jayson Hunter has a great program to follow called The Carb Rotation Diet, which goes into really good detail about staggering your carbs and how this will help you overcome any plateau you might be experiencing.
Check out The Carb Rotation Diet.
Have a great weekend!
