Update – Xtreme Fat Loss Diet7 Comments

Topics: Uncategorized

Many of you know that I’m following the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet for 25 days and I wanted to give you a 2 week update of my progress.  First of all this program is pretty intense, both in the diet and the workouts.  I would say it’s definitely not for everyone.  However, if you are the type of person that wants quick results, the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet delivers.

The reason I decided to follow the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet was simple.  I had let myself get out of shape over the past few months.  Back towards the end of February, I was working out with some of my bootcamp members on a Saturday morning when I started to get really pale and lightheaded.  I hadn’t eaten anything since about 7:30 the evening before and I was dehydrated.  Well I felt bad enough to the point where the paramedics were called to run some tests.  Everything checked out ok, but for a couple of months after that, I was actually scared to workout very hard.  So I didn’t workout much at all.

And when I don’t workout, my diet tends to slide as well.  Plus I had the stress of moving to a new state – Colorado – and…well…my eating habits suffered quite a bit.  So for about a 3 month period, I neglected my health.  I actually didn’t want to, but my mind was playing tricks on me and I was nervous to workout with intensity.

That’s when I decided to start the Xtreme Fat Loss Diet.  It was perfect timing because it came out right before I moved to Colorado.  I figured I would get a fresh start on my health and dive right into the program.  I’ve followed it pretty much to the letter.  My first day on the program was May 10.  The first picture that you see on here was taken the morning of May 11.  The second picture was taken today, May 25 – exactly 2 weeks later.  I’m happy with the results so far.  My abs aren’t back to where I want them to be yet, but I still have 9 days left on the program, so I can’t wait to see what the final results are.

Update: The 3rd picture was taken on Day 26 – June 4, 2010 – the day after finishing the program.

By the way, if you read my last blog post: “Are You Obsessed With Your Weight,” you know that I don’t believe in weighing as a measure of progress.  I actually have no clue how much I way.  But I can tell my the pictures that I’ve come a long way and this keeps me motivated to keep on going for the final 9 days!

Have a great day and good luck with the program if you decide to try it.

Scott

Hey, Scott! You look GREAT! It looks like your hard work is really paying off. I really appreciate your honesty about "neglecting your health". Even trainers are human and stuff happens but it's important to remember it's not how many times you fall but how we learn from it and bounce back. And you are definitely bouncing back! It's also impressive that you are doing this intense of a program during such a stressful move. Very inspirational! Keep up the great job! Can't wait to see the pics in 9 more days!

Thanks Gerald. I've been mainly doing my workouts in my apartment gym except for my high intensity interval training which I've been doing outdoors. Much prefer doing workouts outside.

Thanks Angie….I appreciate. Yep, trainers are not perfect…far from it. A lot of us let work or other things get in the way. It's definitely been a challenge doing this while adjusting to a higher altitude and trying to go out and have a social life too so I can meet some new people. :)
