Wine and Weight Loss

The latest edition of The Great Fat Loss Debate was all about wine and weight loss.
I often get clients who come to me because they are not getting the weight loss results that they want.
When we examine their diet, it turns out they are drinking wine every night.
When I tell them that may be contributing to their poor results, they don’t want any part of hearing that.
They don’t want to give up their wine.
Does this sound like you too?
There have been many studies describing the heart healthy benefits of red wine.
But you also need to consider the calories that you are putting in your body.
You need to consider the fact that wine is an alcohol and alcohol is not good.
And you should consider that you can get these same heart healthy benefits from other foods.
So what should you do?
Do you need to give up wine altogether for weight loss?
Or can you still enjoy wine and experience weight loss at the same time?
If you are following a plan like The Carb Rotation Diet, you can do both.
Listen to Scott Tousignant and I discuss this topic and give our take?

Have an amazing day.

Hello fellows;
I love the topic you chose because it is so controversial with many different opinions but as for me I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with one of the best Natural Health Consultants and I have learned with 15 years experience that when clients would come into the office with health issues and they were drinking red wine for some of them when they were tested some tested strong with one glass of wine a day and others tested weak..it depended on each person differently..others tested strong with one glass of wine once a week while others were testing for once a month etc..depends on how a person feels AFTER they drink it-if it decreases your energy level stop drinking it..also just another view of drinking wine is that I had a friend who lived in France for 15 years and
everyday over there at every meal the whole family would have a glass of wine as they claimed it was good for digestion..they claimed their wine was pure and so people received positive benefits from their wine and some have said the wine over in our country
is not like the wine from France and can cause negative effects on our overall health such as becoming alcoholics…as for me I have never had wine of any kind as it is an alcohol and for me it would be too toxic for my liver to digest..I believe in eating and drinking only pure foods AND beverages because what we ingest today will either improve or decrease our overall health tomorrow..Helen

Okay, so I’m noticing a pattern here with your “topics”. What they really are
are little subdivisions of bigger topics
namely DIET AND EXERCISE. You seem to
like to try and find things that are kind of trendy, like Starbuck’s or the
Subway Diet or whatever. It’s fine to
debate this or that and get different
opinions on things, but ultimatly it
doesn’t make a rat’s a** bit of dif-
ference as far as anybody’s fat loss
is concerned. Why? Because you can’t
debate or rationalize your way to a
better body. You can’t force someone
to get into the gym and stop eating
crap. You can’t use logic and reason
as a means of getting someone to start
actually CARING about their body and
health. Just like you can’t force some-
one into becoming a spiritual person.
And really that’s what we’re talking
about here….a conversion. Those of us
who KNOW how good it feels to feel good
don’t need to be told! Those who don’t
JUST DON’T GET IT, and (unfortunatly)
probably NEVER WILL. I am speaking from
experience when I say these things. I
have been in the fitness industry for
over 25 years and have worked one-on-
one with hundreds of people. When it
comes to changing health habits, I know
(all too well) how people think.
So as far as drinking wine goes. It is
so very obvious that it IS NOT something
a healthy person should be doing AT ALL.
That doesn’t mean that they’re not going
to do it, however. Usually people who
drink one or (usually) two glasses of
wine every night have come to rely on
it as a means of “relaxing” after a
“stressful” day. What they SHOULD be
doing is exercising HARD every day after
work to unwind! That will relieve stress, make you sleep better, AND make
you a healthy, happy person as well!
